Trouble shooting guide T4&T5
Engine will not turn-over.
Check for +12V at battery then check engine fuel & engine oil levels.
Check green light is showing on ignition switch.
Is the red "Emergency stop" button released.
If your machine is fitted with a PTO (power take off), ensure that the it is in the OFF position.
Engine will turn-over but not start.
Check that green power light is showing with handset control when plugged in
& check E-button on handset is released.
If no green light shows on handset check the 13pin connector plug into it’s socket and spray plug pins with WD40 or similar.
If still no green light shows on handset, replace handset control with new or reconditioned unit.
No green light on handset
Check E-button on handset is released.
Check all carefully that all the relays in the electrical control box are seated correctly, and pushed in.
Used WD40 on the connections to clean the electrical pin contacts.
Are there any pins damaged and bent.
Replace handset with a new one.
Engine will start & run but some machine functions will not work.
Stabilizers
With drill rotation in ‘off’ position ensure stabilizers operate up & down.
(NB: Stabilizers will not operate when drill rotation is ‘on’ as a safety measure.)
If both stabilizers & drill feed will not operate check solenoid relief valve ‘E’ for supply voltage and possible contamination inside the 'E' valve cartridge assembly.
Using the GREEN pump test point, measure Max pressure 90 Bar when operating the stabilizers (see image below)

Drill feed operation.
With drill rotation in ‘off’ position ensure drill feed will operate up & down with 2 or 3 red lights showing when drill is operating downwards.
If drill feed operates upwards OK, but NOT downwards, then check for 12V volt supply to solenoid valve 'D' when drill is operating downwards.
Also check for an approximate 1-to-2 volt supply to solenoid valve ‘E’ when 3 red lights are showing when drill feed is operating downwards. Possible contamination within E valve cartridge assembly.
Also check for damaged or bend guide bars, which can cause difficult or no movemnet to the drill feed.
Drill will not rotate.
Check 12volt supply to solenoid valve which is situated on outlet port block of yellow hydraulic pump (Valve F)
Drill will rotate in free air but not when engaged into the surface material.
Possible contamination within solenoid valve 'F' clean or replace.

Using Yellow pump test point measure Max pressure when drill is stalled in surface material.
(photo to follow soon)
Check for contamination with valve 'F' - Clean or replace.

Trouble Shooting Guide (T1 only)
Engine will not turn-over.
Check for +12V at battery and security of battery terminals.
Check engine fuel & engine oil levels are correct.
Check E-button is in released ‘out’ position.
Check main power fuse. (situated within the control box)
Check green light is showing on ignition switch when key is in position 1.
Make sure no warning lights are showing on ignition panel.
If fitted make sure PTO hoses are connected to parking block, or PTO hoses are connected together.
Engine will turn-over but not run.
Check for blocked fuel filter.
Engine will run but some machine functions will not work.
Rear Stabilisers
With drill rotation in ‘off’ position ensure REAR stabilisers operate up & down.
If stabilisers will not operate check if drill feed operation works.
Drill feed operation.
If drill feed will not operate up or down, record max hydraulic pressure on feed gauge (40 – 50 bar) when operating drill feed upwards or downwards.
Drill feed only operates in one direction
Check for distorted or bent guide bars, which can cause difficult or no movemnet to the drill feed.
Drill feed operates upwards but NOT downwards
Check 12-volt supply to solenoid valve ‘W’ situated within the control box.

Drill carriage falls slowly downwards when machine is not in use or engine is not operating
possible contamination in solenoid valve ‘W,’ repair or replace.
Check for correct positioning & movement of feed control handle.
Possible contamination of relief valve within the ‘Cam Valve’ assembly, repair or replace.
Front Stabilisers
If front stabilisers do NOT operate, but rear stabilisers do, check for 12-volt supply to front stabiliser switch on control panel.
Check also for 12-volt supply to solenoid valve ‘K’ and to UP/DOWN solenoids ‘H’ situated in the engine compartment adjacent to the green pump.

Drill does not rotate.
With drill rotation turned ‘on’ check for 12-volt supply to solenoid valve ‘F’ on the T1
(NB: Solenoid valve ‘F’ sits on outlet port block of yellow hydraulic pump.)

Drill rotates in free air but NOT when engaged into the surface material
record maximum pressure on rotation gauge (150 to 180 bar) when drill is stalled on surface material.
Possible contamination within solenoid valve ‘F’ on the T1 clean or replace valve.
Two speed drill only operates in one speed.
Check the free operation of 2 speed knob.
Check if 2 speeds can be selected when engine is turned off and restarted.
Clean or replace 2 speed control knob.
